There are large amounts of textures but we started with looking at the noise texture. The most interesting and visually pleasing part in my eyes was the application of material textures to the shape. The reflection effect works really well when there are multiple objects in the composition as each individual object is reflected upon the surface of each object. This is simply counteracted by turning the brightness down. When first applied the reflection effect is too bright therefore not allowing the base colour of the object to show through. ![]() Due to creating a floor in conjunction with a light source a shadow is cast giving the composition depth.Īnother factor which added to the realistic qualities of the object was the introduction of the reflection effect. ![]() I found the introduction of a light source and textures really interesting in Cinema 4D due to the way it transforms basic objects in to life like objects. In this weeks tutorial we were looking at light and material types which creates life like, textured objects when applied to the standard object shapes supplied in Cinema 4D.
